FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Do you only walk dogs in Hunt Valley & Timonium, Maryland?

A: Yes, we have decided that the best service is the service that does not cater to a huge demographic area. This way we can spend more time with your dog and not worry about our next client who made be farther away.

2. Do customer's give you their keys?

A: Most customers do and we give you the peace of mind knowing that we are fully insured and bonded (copies provided at initial meeting).

3. Do you have a veterinarian background?

A: No, I do not. However, I have worked with several dogs that have different needs. I also have a great relationship with my dog's vet. I have alot of references to help ease your mind.

4. If we go away on vacation, will you come over more than once a day?

A: Generally when a customer goes away, we come over in the morning, afternoon, and evening for walks, feeds, and quality time. This rate is $15 per visit.

5. Would you stay overnight at a customer's home to care for dogs?

A: No, we do not stay overnight. However, if you want us to come very early in the A.M., we will work out a plan for you.

6. Will you do daily walks even on the weekends?

A: Yes, we work weekend hours to satisfy everyone's needs.

7. We just got a puppy and we both work, what services do you provide for a puppy?

A: Puppies usually have to go out every 2-3 hours. Say you are gone 8 hours, we will come over twice during the day and let the puppy out, feed and cuddle the puppy.
*Having a dog walker for a puppy makes training much easier, we will work with your puppy to heel, sit, stay, etc.

8. Can dogs stay with you?

A: We do not have the facilities yet to accommodate multiple dogs. In the future we look forward to offering this service.

9. How do we pay you (if we don't see you)?

A: If we walk your dog daily, payment is expected at the end of the week. If you go away, we appreciate 1/2 before you depart and 1/2 upon arriving back home.

10. What happens in bad weather?

A: We have more than one 4WD vehicle to get to your house in case there is really bad weather. We'll make every effort to get to your location. The only time it would be a problem is in icy conditions.

11. How do I begin using Carla's Dog Walking Service?
