Carla Lodwick's love for animals started in childhood. Taking in strays and putting them in her parent's basement, she knew early on that her life would be dedicated to keeping dogs happy.

She started out walking friend's and neighbor's dogs and now that her kids are teenagers, she launched Carla's Dog Walking Service.

She owns Chili, an Australian Shepherd, who actually helps her out on some dog walks with clients who want their dogs socialized.

"Each and every dog I walk has a personality that I feel I make a difference to. Whether they need extra cuddling or extra running, anything is not too much. These dogs make my day bright and I know that their days are brighter too."

"I walk all types of dogs with different needs. Puppies I will train to heel, dogs with tons of energy I will run with, and I also care for sick dogs. Daily, I will change their diapers, take them on a walk and sit under a shady tree with them. These are dearest to my heart. I am making the biggest difference for them. I love my job!"
